Your Land, Not A Stock Print

The topographic map most shops sell is nobody's land in particular.

Search for a topographic wall map and you get the same thing everywhere: a printed slice of a quad sheet, a lake, a mountain range — a nice image of a place that is not yours. It has no boundary. It does not know where your land starts or stops. A Prospect Forge map begins the other way around: with your parcel, drawn from real county records, and builds the topography around the land you actually own.

A pretty topo of somewhere is decoration. A topo of your own ground is a map.

Topographic Or Aerial

Two ways to see the same piece of ground.

The same property draws two ways, and you pick in the studio. As a topographic map it shows the shape of the land — the rises, the draws, the way the ground falls toward the creek. As a high-resolution aerial it shows the land as it looks from above, roofs and tree lines and roads. Either way the title block carries the name you give the place, the county and state, the acreage, and the coordinates.

TOPOGRAPHIC
The lay of it
The shape of the ground — where it rises, where it drops, how the land reads before a fence or a road is on it.
AERIAL
From above
The property as it looks from the air, in high resolution, with the real boundary drawn over it.
TITLED
Named for the place
Property name, county and state, acreage, and coordinates in the title block — the detail that makes it yours.

It Doesn't Disappear

The map comes with an account that keeps it.

Every map you build lands in a free property-owner account, so it is not gone the moment you download it. You can come back to it, print it again, and add more of your land to it — the same account that carries a property through everything HDS+ does. A one-off print ends at the checkout. This is tied to the ground itself.

Frequently Asked

Custom topographic map FAQ.

Is it a topographic map or an aerial photo?
You choose. The same property can be drawn as a topographic map that shows the lay of the land, or as a high-resolution aerial — both with your real parcel boundary on them.
Are the property lines my actual boundary?
Yes. The boundary comes from real parcel records in public county data — your exact land, your lines, your acreage, not a generic area print.
How fast do I get it?
You build it yourself in a few minutes and the digital file is ready the same day. Printed pieces are made to order and shipped.
How much does it cost?
The digital map starts at $10. On fine paper, mounted aluminum, or engraved metal it is priced by material and size. No subscription.
